    Red face

    hey everyone
    my dv camera which runs into my firewire card fails to be recognised. I put in a different firewire card and it still does'nt work for no obvious apparant reason. It did work before - this seems to be an out of the blue thing

    any ideas?

    Yeah, I had the same "... does not detect a camera connected to your computer" problem before. Went and got a new firewire cable and everything was fine.

    I have several different cables, one of which was €12 so you'd expect it to work! I tried changing them but with no luck...
